Best Amazon Kitchen Finds

You might’ve noticed that our home is an eclectic mix of old and new. Big box and thrifted. An assortment of styles and pieces. I’ve shared some of my handmade favorites before, but sometimes, you need something really practical and functional especially in the kitchen. This is when I look for Amazon kitchen finds and have curated quite the list. Functional can still be pretty and fit in with my neutral home decor!

Just a little note, this post is not at all sponsored – in fact, I have my grievances with Amazon and other huge retailers. However, I know sometimes we might have points, gift cards, or other reasons to shop there and finding quality items is just as important. That’s what this post is for!

I’ve lived in a few homes over the years (life!). This means I don’t have the luxury of storing away appliances or fancy spaces with hidden drawers and such. This means a lot of the day to day items end up on the countertop. To help keep things minimal and as clutter free as possible, I look for really simple and neutral pieces. Amazon has a lot of high quality brands that check these boxes. Here are some of my tried & true favorites:

Best Amazon Kitchen Finds:

1. White Haden Heritage Toaster – this is the one we use daily!
2. Black Coffee Carafe – we use this for both coffee and tea
3. Bamboo Dish Rack – this is a mainstay on my countertop and with the pretty wood, I don’t mind keeping it out
4. Bamboo Knife Block – one of my favorite storage solutions to keep countertops clear
5. Acacia Wood Salad Servers – so pretty in a canister
6. Dansk Kobenstyle Casserole Pot – I cannot tell you how much I love this white pot, it’s beautiful and functional (the lid also serves as a trivet!)
7. Turkish Hand Towels – you will always find these in my kitchen drawers
8. Round Wood Bowl – lovely for fruit or styling shelf decor
9. Gray Mini Keurig Coffee Maker – cute space saver for my little coffee station
10. Black Stoneware Coffee Mugs – neutral coffee mugs are one of my favorite ways to start the day
11. Glass Kitchen Canisters – I keep our oatmeal toppings in these which look pretty out on the counter
12. Boos Block Cutting Board – hardcore cutting board that I use every single day and looks pretty sitting out on the counter

When shopping for Amazon kitchen finds, I make sure to check these boxes:

• Item is truly functional – not just another thing to take up space
• Established brand – it can be tricky sometimes, but I’ve discovered a few smaller brands through Amazon and have become loyal to them outside of the site
• Neutral – white, black, wood or another neutral element that will fit seamlessly no matter how life, kitchens, styles change over time
• Versatile – when possible, I look for pieces that could be used in a variety of ways or can be stored on shelves or cabinets

A good example of all this are the Dutch designed Kobenstyle sauce pans and casserole pots. They really are one of my very favorite amazon kitchen finds. Nothing makes me happier than a well-designed item. This cookware includes lids that ALSO serve as hot pad trivets which just keeps things all around minimal. So it’s functional and will also save space because I can cook and then serve in the same pan. Yes, please.

In addition to decor and accessory type items, I’ve also had luck with small kitchen appliances on Amazon. Things like toasters, microwaves, coffee makers, and tea pots. There are some great modern or classic options that have worked for me in all the different kitchens I’ve lived in.

This little microwave is a prime example. Have you seen a cuter microwave?! This retro inspired microwave is from Haden -they also make our toaster and tea kettle. Because we don’t have a nook or built in microwave option, I needed something that would neatly fit on the countertop and also not stick out like a sore thumb!

Choosing neutral colors and smaller sizes when possible makes it easier to incorporate pieces and mix things up over time. Because this kitchen has been a work in progress (check out the entire kitchen remodel!) so keeping things neutral really helps!

I love using wood accents to add warmth to the kitchen (especially with all white and gray). This large Boos cutting block is one of my absolute favorite amazon finds. And, if you follow along over on Instagram, you might’ve caught my tip that I use cutting boards to hide my outlets (there’s one behind the cutting board here). Boos is a solid brand and one of many I feel comfortable purchasing from.

Final Thoughts

While it’s not always my first choice, there are a lot of great kitchen options on Amazon. I hope this list of neutral, functional, and timeless kitchen accessories is helpful.
